Everytime I go to a party that doesn't have drugs and alcohol at them, the people (all NTs) are socially awkward and don't really want much to do with each other unless they're buzzed. It's lame, really. I don't need mind alterting substances for myself to be more social (just to cure boredom), but I like when OTHER people are already a little buzzed.

Alcohol cracks and melts "the ice" a bit, so it can be smashed to pieces!

Seriously...are we humans (aspies, NTs, everybody between the age of 19-25) that inhibited and uptight a race that we can't interact unless we're getting our drank on and our smoke on?

People are actually kind of snobby at these "sober" functions.

No, it's just that parties are so boring that if people attend them with a clear head, they have no idea what to do with themselves.
