I haven't had a drink in this country since last year. I drank and smoked on holiday a couple of weeks ago. Cigarettes are my friend, and I only wanna smoke when I drink. Time to get pissed I guess. And i'm gonna listen To Iron Maiden- Number of the beast.
That should do the trick.

what kind of 'pain' do you have benjimanbreeg?

I ask because I got 'dry socket' after oral surgery and I have never hurt so much with out having a baby to show for it. This has lasted for a week and a half and is just starting to be dulled by the pain meds.

Yeah that sounds painful, hope you feel better soon. No the pain i've got is in my head. I feel slightly better after listening to that album and having a couple of beers, I can't wait to smoke later. Drink and smoke isn't the answer though, in the new year i'll go cold turkey again and get back on track.

In your 'head' or in your 'heart' benjimanbreeg? I do understand frustration and mental and emotional pain. Oh, just so you know... and you probably do know it, but if you smoke now, those nicotine receptors will just get all excited again, making it a REAL bear to cold turkey again. But you probably know that. Just sayin'

Well I smoked when I was on holiday the other day. Its not really the nicotine for me. I just find smoking a comfort. It really dosent bother me when i'm sober. Its just drink and smoking go together so well. I've given up drinking for a year, then 11 months. And I have given up smoking for 6 months on one occasion, 1 year and 6 months on another, and 11 months of this year. I'll find it easy to stop again in the new year. And just wait till next christmas to drink and smoke again. I think i'll knock it on the head if I ever find someone to love.
