I remember my favorite stuffed animals when I was very yiung being Sidney the raccoon and Charity the white bear. I also had a dolphin named Fanny, a big orange bear named Bob-- BOB. Big Orange Bear... a tiger named Tigger, and more... those were my very first. Then I was given Teddy the brown bear, Thomas the brown bear with clothes sewn onto him and a jacket, Koala the windup koala bear from Australia that played Waltz in Matilda or whatever it's called... I also had Raggedy Ann and another rag doll called Lottie Love... Lars, of course... then Polar, a different kind of white bear, Polar bear the bear/bag, and ?Chocolate the bear with a basket of chocolates... Snowflake the polar bear with clothes sewn onto him, a big Charity, and Paddy bear the little green Irish bear, Smokey the little black bear, Ears and Greenie and Orangine (3 other smallish bears). I had a water baby named John whom I later renamed Sebastian and then John Sebastian, so he wouldn't lose his original name... I would play school and after-school with them, and I would sometimes bring Charity to school and leave her in my bag for good luck. Sometimes I took her out, especially at the after-school daycare. I also played "Titanic" with my bears.

I used to play Dr Who with my sister and we'd climb into the upright clothes dryer for a Tardis. I'd say "I'd better go outside and have a look around to make sure it's safe".

She'd say, "I'm coming too"

and I'd say "no, it might not be safe - and I'd lock the door"

When I finally let her out, she'd go crying to mum about it and I'd be upset because she didn't want to play anymore.

Mum would listen to her and then tell her to "go and play with your brother"....

In retrospect it's pretty funny.

I found the Hard Rock Cafe stimulating. Planet Hollywood too, but the HRC more, maybe becayuse it was better known.

When I was 11 years old we got a dog.

I arrived home from school like usual one day. I put my bag down in the kitchen and walked outside to tell my mother that I was home. When I was outside I heard a quiet "yapping" sound. I thought the neighbours had a dog. Then from around the corner a little puppy ran towards me.
My mother told me that he was ours. That was one of the happiest days of my life.

I was happy when I got a bird in grade 2. I remember how my mother got him for me, and a big thing of bird seed, nutritional gravel, a cage and stuff to put in it. I miss having a bird. I'm going to have some in my room and cats too.

Memories of my iguana make me happy since we're talking about pets, it was damn cool...i had a bright yellow rainjacket when i was younger (yup, the big bird look, that's how cool i was :S) and everytime i would pass my iguana it would just stare at me blink and then reach for me, i still remember its little hands. we named him stretcher, so here's cheers to that long gone friend, random happy memory indeed
