I've got 1000 posts, the option still isn't there in the profiles... What else do I need to do?

Only admins can change titles.

Most people post thier new title request in the sticky thread in the members only forum that Mockingbird made for new title request. I suggest you try that.

Or, if you are in a hurry, and you seem to be, you could PM your request to Mockingbird or Vivi.
