Hey.
Someone from WP added me on msn a while back (no names mentioned), and we got talking.
At first we were friends, and every now and then he'd slip in the odd dirty joke about British girls. I just laughed it off and thought it was one of his quirks. But now he's only ever saying dirty and nasty stuff to me, and it's really hurting me feelings. He demands pictures of me and insults me if I don't go along with what he wants. I've blocked him on msn, as I've finally realised that he is acting in a way that is out of line.
I've told him many times that he's hurting my feelings, but he just laughs at me. I just don't know what to do any more, I've ended up getting seriously depressed on several occassions over the past few months (with a total of 4 suicide attempts over him), and my self-esteem is non-existant.
Do I deserve this or something? I mean, he knew me pretty well through this friendship we had, and it's really hurt my feelings that he's come to the conclusion that I deserve to be treated this way.

Don't feel hurt- you're being stalked by someone who is seriously ill. It's nothing you did or said, this person needs help. But you're not the one to give it- don't have any further contact with him. I hope you didn't give him any personal information- phone #, where you live, etc.

Thanks :)
He doesn't have any details like that, just a few photos of me. But he lives far away, so I think I'm safe.

Again, don't take it personally! This is obviously a person who is incapable of having a friendship with anybody! He doesn't ''know'' you, it's all about him! You're OK- he's not- now get on with your life.

You did the right thing! It's out of line for ANYBODY to act like that, and if he is then there is something seriously wrong with him. Don't convince yourself that this is a reflection on who you are as a person! It's a good thing you didn't give out any personal information, and as a I'd stay cautious of who you get to know on the internet in the future- don't get to know anybody that well, that sort of thing.

Don't beat yourself over the head about it - as a result, you're more comfortable with what you experience in life, that is a wonderful thing.

Thank you both very kindly for the advice and support :)
I didn't realise that he was the one with the problem. But now it's obvious he's a real creep. I hope he doesn't give anyone else hassle in the future.

I don't think he's a creep. He's just joking around with you. You shouldn't let him make you feel suicidal. Why get suicidal over something like this?

Why don't you give him another chance?
