This past week I've been really depressed. Because of this I haven't been out or done anything, including seeing my good friend. We both have AS and depression so he knows what it's like. Anyway I told him I didn't want to be friends anymore, and he just won't let go. He me made me feel really bad becuse he kept saying how I'm his only friend and I'm the reason he gets up every day. I just can't make him listen to me. I've never wanted friends before, so I was really suprised when I made friends with him. I just don't know what to do. I haven't slept in two days, I keep screaming at everyone and my mother is fed up because everything she does seems to result in me having a meltdown. But I'm not angry at her, I don't really know who I'm angry at. I feel like a complete idiot for posting this but I have no-one to talk to. I just feel like there is no point in doing anything, because everything goes wrong anyway. Sometimes I think it would be better if I weren't here.

Sleep is good. Sorry for what's going on with the ex-friend (which, if I were him I'd be wondering, "WTF?"), and the arguments with your mom. Try to get some sleep and maybe you'll be able to think more clearly when you wake.

I could be totally wrong here, but could you be having a rough time right now because you made friends with this person, but you actually prefer to be alone? If this is the case, you can't really help how you feel. And your poor friend, he needs to find people that like other people to be around.

Maybe that is the reason. I always said I didn't want friends because of this stuff. I can't deal with other people's feelings. I prefer casual friendships like the guys at school. We hang out at school, but do not talk to each other or see each other out of school. And thanks for the advice everyone, I got some sleep and feel a bit calmer now. And as for my friend he still won't let go. I think with us going to different colleges, we'll be seeing each other less. So I'll just let things end naturally, not do anything. Meet new people, and hopefully he'll do the same thing.
