This could be just be a problem with my system, but it only seems to happen when on WP. Sometimes my cursor will disappear. I can still click on stuff, but I have no way of knowing what I'm over.
I'm running Safari on an EMac.

Experienced that a few weeks ago, no idea why.

Me too.
Now my cursor is getting moved when I click on a thread on WP, I get dragged down to bottom of page into ad for Insweb or Webins, car insurance. It's really annoying, have to keep clicking outside the autofill blank box in order to get back up to read the posts. Means I can't use directional arrow keys to steer around page, either, have to first use mouse to get out of the ad. It's been like this for past few days & it's an impediment to my using the site.

I use Safari 24/7 and I haven't noticed this at all. What version of safari are you using?

1.3.2 Panther. I get software updates they offer online, not willing to go buy new "Tiger" operating system, considering how little I do w/computer.
Aaargh-it just happened again on this thread when I chose the quote button (in order to post my reply). Page went down to purple Insweb ad & blinking of my cursor had been relocated into "zip code where you park" box.
Doesn't occur every single time-seems to alternate, off & on, every 1 or 2 clicks it does it & then doesn't. Intermittent irritation, yet tenacious enough to make me finally speak up about it-hoped problem would go away by itself.

i lose my cursor with the blinking ads in the box up top. when i scroll past them so that they are off the screen, it comes back.
sometimes it just blinks at the same rate of blinking of the ad.

Almost 2 weeks after this ad began plaguing my visits here, at last I'm tentatively hopeful. Today has been different, that blasted ad is GONE & my cursor is back under my control !
If someone made it go away, thanks. If it just got randomly rotated out to make place for another ad, fine-result is the same. Improves my WP experience, for the moment.

Alas, the dastardly ad has returned today, I'm unpleasantly surprised.
I despise this one ad vehemently, it physically interferes w/my ability to use the site.
