For those who do not know about Divine Comedy, here is some Information about the members, unlike other Pop Bands (Take That, Spice Girls etc) The members are not usually identified, the Members are all Instrumentalist sand the members come and go, Neil Hannon lead singer (The Only Singer) and Creater of the Divine Comedy is the Only Member who is always Present. here are 2 of the most famous members





Neil Hannon

-He is non other than the creater and Lead Singer of the Divine Comedy Some people say Neil Hannon is the Divine Comedy because , -He is the only Member who is always present in the Band, he plays the Piano and Guitar and Writes the music.
-Neil Hannon was born in Northern Ireland to an Anglican Clergyman.
-Neil Hannon is not Just a singer he is a Composer.
-Neil writes all the songs (Except Eric The Gardener and certinaty of Chance where he written the song with Joby Talbot)
-he written songs for the irish sitcom Father Ted (Including thew theme Tune which was later to become "Songs of love" in his 1995 album Casanova when he became famous for his song "Something for the Weekend"). he also written the theme tune to another sitcom IT Croud.
-He worked with Robbie Williams, Tom Jones, Air, Ben Folds, Michael Nyman and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich.
-he took part in the 2004 Band Aid
-Neil written songs for Charlotte Gainsbourg and Laura Michelle Kelly
- Neil sung songs for sound Track of "Hitchickers Guide To The Galaxy" in 2005 (The sound track was by a former member of the Divine Comedy Joby Talbot)
-Neil Hannon sung 2 songs for the sound track of Doctor Who
-Neil is now currently writting a musical version of "Swallows and Amazones"



Joby Talbot

- He was a member of the Divine Comedy from 1993 till 2001, Although Joby Talbot did some string arrangmerts in the Divine Comedies 2004 album Absent Friends
- He did the sound track for the award winning sketch comedy "League of Gentlemen", there Film "League of Gentlemens Apocalypse" and "Hitchickers Guide To The Galaxy".
- He colaborated with other music artists and bands Like Travis, Michael Nyman, Tom Jones, Radiohead Producer Nigel Godrich, Paul McCartney, Air and Charlotte Gainsbourg
- Joby Talbot plays the Cello and is a string arranger

I know a few of their songs. I find they're a bit up and down. Alfie was a great song tho.

'The National Express' is an amazing song that I know every word to and use to warm up my vocals.
