Maybe I just don't "get" abstract bits like music videos... "Under the Bridge" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers is a good example. What does that video have to do with the lyrics?

Fortunately, there ARE some people out there who understand that words & images should match...

"Under the Bridge" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers I get. Somehow the way they use their words can make the reader match completely to the video.

For the other one, however, I don't get it. All the guy's doing is walking on a plain, avoiding meteors, going and diving in a cave, then coming out. What does the lyrics have to do with the video?

Actually, those are NOT the lyrics to "under the bridge". Those are lyrics written by the satirist to match the video... just as the lyrics in the second video were written to match the images (though not quite as well.)

In neither case do the original as-sold lyrics have anything remotely to do with the images in the video, so the humnorists/satirists came up with rythmicly correct lyrics descriptive of the images in the video.

That's what I find interesting.

How could they do that to The Red Hot Chili Peppers?
