The Disney film, The Lion King has always been one of my main obsessions ever since it was first released to theaters in 1994. My obsession isn’t really the movie itself but all the cool merchandise from it and the boxes and packaging of this merchandise. When The Lion King was released to Imax and to DVD in 2003, the merchandise came back but it wasn’t as exciting or cool as the merchandise that followed the 1994 theatrical release. Instead of an exciting jungle scene in vivid calming green with a picture of young Simba sitting atop Mufasa’s head it was now a headache inducing red sunset with a horribly rendered picture of Simba. Recently on a Lion King message board, someone told of how they obtained a kit that Disney would show to manufactures to illustrate how they wanted the packing done. These are most likely very very rare and almost impossible to obtain. I asked her as politely as I could if she could scan the pictures and show them to me. She said no because it would be very hard and time consuming. It wasn’t like I was expecting her to do it all in one day. To me this was like having a chance to see the Holy Grail but being denied.

Still; that's a project; scanning all those pictures. But maybe not seeing them would hurt you more than doing that would hurt her... still, you two have to come to some sort of agreement that doesn't hurt either of you. How about maybe going to visit her sometime and seeing it, or having her visit you, or having her film the stuff, quickly flipping through it all on camera (and you can pause it to look at the stuff more thoroughly), or buying it off her? :)

I don't even know her outside the internet and I think she lives in Germany. I am in the US. I don't think she ould be willing to part with it.
