Do any of you always feel it's your fault that others around you are miserable?

Do you think it's your fault that there are flaws in your life?

I always get that feeling. Whenever my father is frustrated, I always have the notion that it's my fault. I have always felt that way growing up.

that's one of the most difficult aspect of my life and the source of lot of my rages, frustrations and loneliness.
for some reasons in Israel it's common to assign such feelings to Jews who came from Poland,
i was born here but my parents are polish Jews and unbearable guilt was always great part of my life
i think it's a great part of many AS life as well though it might be quite hidden behind other motives

Well, not always, but often, and if it really is obviously my fault and he knows it I get really self-abusive. Self-control can be difficult.
