What instrument{s} do you play
and what type of instrument{s} is it?

I am posting this because
one of my obsessions is to
play a musical instrument.

Why don't you then.
I play guitar, synth, piano, organ, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, double bass, bass guitar, and a bunch of other instruments. I play rock, jazz and folk styles. I also know how to do live sound engineering and have a home studio.

I have been playing musical instruments since I was 5.

I play keyboard, I like to write and compose my own songs, though I'm stuck with sucky midi software and a lot of latency so I record without it.

piano, a bit of guitar, used to play French Horn in an orchestra as well...Piano is my main instrument though, have played since i was 8!

Mostly fiddle these days (various styles). I also play piano but really only as accompaniment (it's a really wicked style, though... it knocks people's socks off).

I was classically trained. Even went to music school and got the degree. It's not as much fun as trad, though, so I gave it up.
