Because of comments that you guys have made, we thought WrongPlanet would be able to provide you with a more positive user experience by cutting down on some of the advertising. As a result, we've removed intelliTXT ads and we've removed all above-the-fold ads from the front page of the site.

We may soon start replacing animated ads with text-only ads as some people made a good point about such ads distracting them from the great content provided by the site. I would like to know which of the three ad locations on the forums distract you the most (is it the top, the left, or the bottom?).

You will also start to see us sometimes not serving ads if you're one of "the regulars." We're committed to giving you the best user experience possible and hope that you benifit from such improvements.

cool, great idea, wondering how will the server know your a reguler or a newcomer?? and for how long does the server hold the "regular" status on a person??

anyway im glad your doing text only, there have been times were i have accidentally hit the ad at top and on left side they used to have things like raining ipods or zap a jellyfish with spongebob squarepants. the kindi think are best for fine motor control impared people are the kind that are text and have a border. this is better so i know theres a boundry between site and ad.

Those text adds can be a little insulting though.

Example:
Are you normal?
A fun test to see how you match up to the rest!

And innapprorite:

Overcome infertilty!
