Gunpei Yokoi was one of the most important figures in the history of the video game company Nintendo. While working at Nintendo, he developed the Game Boy handheld game console and the D-Pad, the cross-shaped directional input device found on most modern game pads. He also helped produce many of the world's most recognizable games, such as Donkey Kong and the original Mario Bros. Yokoi left Nintendo to form what company?"
