Mumford and Sons

I just started listening to Mumford and Sons. Their song, the Cave, is really good. I am quite certain that they are fairly new, though they are from the UK, so i'm sure that they are old news by now over there.


They remind me of Fleet Foxes . . .

I've known about 'em since January of this year!! Sirius XM Spectrum started playing 'em back then! They remind me more of a "darker" version of Simon and Garfunkel than they do of Fleet Foxes, though I can see where you'd get that comparison too. It's kinda weird (in a good way) that "Little Lion Man" has hit both adult alt. AND "alternative" stations (including LA's KROQ, oddly enough). Could a folk-rock revival be in the works?!? If so that'd be pretty cool

I've definitely overplayed their cd but they're still pretty awesome to me. Watched them on the Bonaroo festival feed on youtube. The poor band members weren't used to the southern american heat and were sweating like crazy.

Guess I should probably check out a few songs, after all they only have one album at the moment.
