I haven't played any online games as yet, thinking about Everquest or Guild Wars. A friend of mine plays WOW all the time.

I will for sure be playing APB- All Points Bulletin - when it comes out in 2008, 300 cities, over 30.000 territories, you play as cop or criminal, GTA style. Make money stealing cars, selling weapons or any way you like. I think there is a place where you can go and chat with others. You can play with others or as a lonely wolf.

It's probably going to cost a lot of money though, you can be attacked offline, and pay money to have someone protect your territory.

Halo would have to be one of my favorite online games. That would be cool if someone could start a game with "Aspies Only" on Halo (on multiplayer), which would be interesting.

I tried Eve Online for a couple of months, but I really didn't like the way it was first and foremost designed to be addictive. I play games to have fun, not anxiety pangs about how I'm going to afford my next ship upgrade.

It also doesn't help that I'm just as inept at socialising in cyberspace as I am in meatspace.

What, nobody here plays Counter-Strike? If anyone bumps into a Stupid Newbie, that's me. I usually just go into random 24/7 Office servers.

Gotta love that handle. For the brief bit of deathmatching that I did in the "Prey" demo my handle was "Fodder," because that way if I did badly I was being true to my name, but if I did well then it's like, "DUDE! You got defeated by FODDER! Poor bastard." Unfortunately I didn't get to say that too often because I hadn't played deathmatch in years, and had lost my mojo, so to speak.

I'm gonna start playing Eve-Online soon. It's in space, it's vast, it's complicated, it's timeconsuming, it's fighting, tatics, economy.

You can play as a lone wolf being a pirate or bountyhunter, or you can be a part of a bit organisation/coorporation.

I just bought Guild Wars : Factions yesterday and started playing it. I can see what people are talking about, IMO it *SMOKES* Everquest - better graphics, animation, visual character customization, you can't beat the fact that its free either. I can see where if people feel the need to work on every last skill for hours on end to be halfway decent or if they want to learn trades and become merchants it may not be their kind of game but for people like me its probably perfect.
