How do the Melvins get lumped in with bands like Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam? That always confuses me.

I'm 21 but i still dress like it's the early '90s. i'm fond of that era, even though i was very young, the 90s never left me. I like Grunge, Riot Grrrl and most alternative music from that era (before MTV got their hands on it)

Stuff I like (Not all of these artists are necessarily grunge but whatever):

TAD
Pearl Jam
Soul Asylum
Bikini Kill
Bratmobile
Beat Happening
Daniel Johnston
Soundgarden
Alice In Chains
Sonic Youth
Imperial Teen

etc.

90's was a great time for my ears as well (21 years old as well)

i also like all of the alternative mad before 2000

though since there is so many it's easy to forget the names and alot of one hit wonders

in seattle they had/still have 107.7 the end, not as good now but back then they would and still do the end of the year count down. That was the best radio time ever! I would record those sessions onto tape- it was like top 1000 or something crazy like that and it would play for a few days.
