How exactly did you come to that conclusion? Yes, the stuff Amy Lee writes now is kind of sappy, and has nothing on her older work with the original band, I still wouldn't consider it emo. To me, emo is music by bands like Hawthorne Heights, Dashboard Confessional and Snow Patrol.
