Rush in concert - completely wired afterwards!
Okay, I just saw Rush in concert and I am always amazed at how their complex musical style almost overwhelms my system - but in a GOOD way.
There are some shows I can go to and be entertained, have an enjoyable time, then "return to earth" pretty quickly once the show is over.
However, Rush is one of those bands that just takes me to a whole'nother place in my head - it's almost trance-like. Tori Amos does that for me too, and I think if I were ever lucky enough to see Tool, it would also be like that.
I know there are a handful more bands who have this effect on me, and I'm wondering how you feel about live music. Does it have this transcendent effect on you? Any artist in particular "move" you more than others?

Hell, I thought I was just weird.
i can (obviously) come off as really abrupt and my tone can sound sharpish, so feel free to ask me to clarify
I would love to go see Rush. Definitely one of my top bands. You're so lucky to have seen them!! ![]()
