Avoid alcohol.
Talk to friends and/or family.
Seek hugs and affection if you like physical contact.
Go out in the sun whenever you can. The special lamps used to treat SAD might help, too.
Simplify your life. Throw away anything that you don't really need.
Try to maintain a routine, even if you're not at work. Get enough sleep, but don't loaf around in bed all day. Eat at regular times.
HOWEVER, it may also be necessary to do something new and interesting to break up your cycle of worrying. Maybe go to a show or a sports game, or find a new hobby, or visit some relatives for a few days. I am sure someone would help you with the cost, if that's an issue.
I don't know of any vitamins or supplements with proven benefits for anxiety. St. John's Wort seems to have a very strange effect on a lot of Aspies (it can be badly counter-productive), so I'd give that a miss. A multivitamin a day is always a good idea, anyway, particularly if you don't feel like eating much at the moment. I take Omega-3 fish oil with folic acid as this might be associated with brain activity (nothing proven, though).
Overcoming Depression by Paul Gilbert is a good book to try. Anxiety and depression are very closely linked, so I think it's relevant. Alternatively I'd recommend something daft like Round Ireland with a Fridge by Tony Hawks for a bit of escapism.
If you are like me, your brain is tied up trying to solve a problem which it has perceived, and the problem is that you're anxious. Basically, you're stuck in a loop. Seek help from everyone who is trustworthy enough, and maybe try to work things out a bit... but in the long run you'll probably just have to get yourself to the stage where you can think "s**t happens!", shrug your shoulders and move on. There isn't necessarily an all-singing, all-dancing ANSWER out there for you. The trick is in accepting that this doesn't matter.
Good luck!
