I want to post my drawings and then the photo the photo make-overs of them....or just the drawing, or just the makeover. Feel feel to critique it, growth is needed always. Oh, and there will also be paintings as well!

I am very fond of the painting with the sky, water surface (& world of man) and the underwater life.

The last one is my favorite; it seems to depict vallient struggle, vunerability. It's beautiful and sobering.

My favorites. I love the colors and the feeling of freedom I get from looking at the top one, and the detail looks great in the second.

A tip: I know some of these are probably big but is there any way for you to use a scanner on the ones that are of a small enough size? Some are a bit hard to see because of shakiness.

That's a lot of work to critique at once.

For me, the frog is the most impressive rendering.

I applaud you for attempting to convey so much subject matter so close together in this one. (too many artists are so afraid of "clutter" so they won't experiment like that)

I think the fatal flaw is the lack of dept, because the 3 sails are too similar in size and the texture of the waves stays on the same scale in the foreground and background.
It also looked like you had to struggle with the size limitations of the markers (or brushes?) with the tiny details, like the bird farthest from the viewer.
The shadows on the house have good shape, but needs to go much darker.
You should have left out the white streaks under the dolphin's flippers, and had them only streaking back from its tail, to imply speed and motion.

I think you should try more pieces with intense compositions like, but I recommend lots more practice sketching & painting of the individual subjects before hand. With so many elements, you might want to try picking an imaginary light source to get consistent shadows (even if it's meant to be surreal).

Maybe I'll critique another piece later.

The easiest thing you can do to improve the presentation quality of all of your work is to change the way you photograph it. These pics look like they were taken inside under artificial light with the camera on automatic settings, sometimes pointed at an odd angle. Photograph your work outside under direct sunlight. Your shutter speed will shrink so you won't get camera-shake, and you can use lower ISO so you don't get a grainy texture. Remember to crop out all distracting details (like the cardboard box and pringles can next to the frog for example).

Wow, that's a lot of work you've put on here! :)
I like this one because of the unusual angle you have looked at it from and also I think the empty space on the right hand side makes the composition stronger.

These two are beautiful, in different ways. I love them both. Much talent going on there.

Sorry for multiple postings but I'm not sure how to include images from different posts in my post. :?

I have to say I feel slightly awkward at critiquing someone's work as I don't feel like an expert so feel free to dismiss what I say, but I am just picking out the ones that struck a chord for me. :)
Ok, well the colours really stood out for me in this one and as Fatal-noogie said the amount of information you have managed to get in there. I think maybe I would prefer it if without the planets at the top, although I can also see what you are doing with that so I am a bit torn there. :chin:

Some parts of this one are a bit difficult to see because of the reflection but I think it looks like a great drawing especially the lower half.

Is this one a print? because I think the foreground looks particularly printerly and I also like the texture.

As others have already said this is an amazing drawing. :)

For me I think this last one is my favourite overall. I find it really intriguing and it's the sort of thing I could sit and look at for a long time! It reminds me a little of this guy's work - Mark Jessett http://www.leisuretone.co.uk/project/drawings-2011/

The amount of drawings here make me look lazy...
