If I got snowed in, I'd be A-OK, even if the electricity shut off. If I had full electrical power, I'd cook myself some hot food from my freezer/pantry, watch some 24, read a book---pretty much do what I do anyways. If the power were cut off, I'd still have my iPod, but without a way to charge the battery I doubt I'd watch movies/TV on it. I have a camp stove with plenty of fuel, and two big dogs and a cell phone. It really wouldn't bother me if I got snowed in, actually. At least for a few weeks. After that I'd be a little worried.

Gather up a bunch of kids and teens in a city park and build a giant snow fort, together. :)
