I have a few unfinished tracks that you could play around with, and we could collaborate and finish off my second EP. :)

Sounds interesting, I might take a look at it if you post a link to see if I can add anything. I don't know if I'd want to try at a whole album collab at the moment but I could at least lend some ideas on a few tunes perhaps.

Sure, I'll post a link later via my SoundCloud.

There's only about 3 or 4 tracks about 1-2 minutes each. :)

I think I'm hitting a spell right now where I can tell I'm getting bored of producing dnb. It seems like the beat structure feels too frozen, especially along the standard motifs, so my stuff's just getting wonkier. Right now I've got something at 174 that I started working on with a kick drum on the half notes so its feeling and behaving much closer to 87bpm but still, the added minimalism is giving me a chance to drive it a bit deeper:

(with this one, please only use if you contact me and feel like you can or want to try taking it farther in the direction that its going - I'm looking do add some sort of thin/dark/etherial pads and perhaps some mashups around the corners that'll sort of pull at the listener. This isn't a final verdict on structure either - just a loop demo).

I like that, I might play with it a bit.

Either that or PM would be fine.

Something else, I've been hitting a point lately where - while I love good results - I'm really starting to fall out of love with the process. Changing up styles might help me dig out of that some.

Great. I can send you the stems when I get home. Look for a PM maybe by 10:00 or 11:00 GST. If you're up for firing something back and forth that might be neat.

I thought I might just chuck something on top of the Wav you provided for now. If I do anything half interesting, we can go to stems, but don't hold your breath

I don't know what direction you wanted, but I'm doing a kind of ambient hip hop thing, it's weird, but I like it.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to hear. Was thinking more ambient than hip-hop though, if we really want to get into the beat structure, rearrange that, or come up with something deeper/stranger that's where I think we could carry the stems farther with some slicing/dicing and deconstruction techniques as well as any synth pads or melodic elements we can think to add.

Sounds like an interesting idea. Could expand the instrument selection, though. I'm working on learning the bagpipes, though I currently just have my practice chanter. I understand we may have another piper or two on here...

Hi, sorry to dig resurrect this dead thread.

Below is my SoundCloud page posted...again, just so you can have a look at the new tracks. Feel free to collaborate/remix on any of them. Would be interesting to hear them being remixed.

I'm starting to take a listen now, I'll check a few now and a few later. If I see anything I'll PM for the stems.
