This came up at work today, and is an interesting bumber sticker idea--

Don't read my body language-You don't know how.

Some guy had just asked the time. I told him. He double looked and said (infer tone) "You Surrrrre?" Total stranger. I said yeah, why would I joke with a total stranger. He said, well I read your body language....

The above phrase FELL out of my mouth. And he shut up.

scientifically certifyable body language lying syndrome.

If I had to tell a NT I'm an Aspie, I'll yell at them: "I have Aspergers!! !! !!"

I didn't tell my friends about my AS, and I don't plan to. There is really no need, since I can emulate NT behavior well enough to fit into the group. It requires little effort for me, except for the occasional need to mentally restrain myself from having a meltdown. My friends generally respect me for who I am, even though some of them said that I have my weirdnesses here and there. Then again, doesn't everybody?

Most of the NTs at my HS are really uncomfortable when I talk about Asperger-related stuff so I do not bother.

"Now bobby, why would a man want to water susies flower?" "Now, why would I have given you that paper?" "Uh i don't know.i'm stupid like that." (she really did say that.) so she'slike Mmm K when I tell her. sheesh.
