No one wants me here!! !! !
When getting a job it's best to leave out any handicap, like my friend who had this great degree in college but was denied a job taking care of handicapped kids because he had a leg brace. x:

True. It never fails to disappoint me that almost every form you fill out for a job has a disability equality section etc, yet like it or not, there is still discrimination everywhere. It pisses me off so much. It is so... two faced to on the one hand pretend to be all for equality yet to still judge prospective employees based on their disabilities. People with AS can have so many positive qualities, but these will more often than not be totally overlooked in favour of only seeing the negative ones.
Usually, Unknown, you never want to use AS as a crutch. If you make yourself out to be 'handicapped', companies will reject you. I know, it's hard with AS to keep a job. But put in a whole lot of effort and concentrate on what desirable job you really want, then you will get a good resume for that job.
If you don't make it out as a crutch, and the company rejects you, you can file a civil suit against them for being discriminating against you. (That is, if you find evidence for that)

You seem to have bad self esteem too...why dont you like yourself? You often seem to hate yourself. Maybe that is preventing you from getting out there. I am sure there are some things you are very good at.
1.Sometimes i'm in between.
2.The agression is NOT making me feel good.
3.I don't really know why i hate myself,but i just do...

1) Probably not likely bi polar then (though I am no psychologist)
2)Then you have to find a way to work on that bit by bit. Maybe find something else you can vent your aggression on...like a punchbag or an old pillow you can beat the s**t out of...hell, do you have a blog on here? or keep a diary of some sort? That can be a great way of venting all that aggression without upsetting people so much on the forums. Alternatively, find some sort of anger management group. Lots of books out there too on controlling this sort of anger. Ultimately, you need to find out what is making you react aggressively as it is probably something totally unconnected to the forum activities.
3)You need to find out why then, as there must be some reason...maybe you need to accept that whatever crap the NTs and others directed at you was not true and does not mean you are a bad person. Is it possible that you have decided at some level that all the negative things said to you in the past are true?

Jnet, if I recall, I did say I am not a psychologist, did I not? I said that for a reason, obviously, since I put it in brackets after saying it did not sound LIKELY it was bi polar, which is different to saying outright it is definitely not bi polar. I am well aware that bi polar is not characterised by having ONLY ups and downs.
To rectify my serious error, lol, here is a list of the traits that go hand in hand with bipolar.
Bipolar disorder causes dramatic mood swings—from overly "high" and/or irritable to sad and hopeless, and then back again, often with periods of normal mood in between. Severe changes in energy and behavior go along with these changes in mood. The periods of highs and lows are called episodes of mania and depression.
Signs and symptoms of mania (or a manic episode) include:
Increased energy, activity, and restlessness
Excessively "high," overly good, euphoric mood
Extreme irritability
Racing thoughts and talking very fast, jumping from one idea to another
Distractibility, can't concentrate well
Little sleep needed
Unrealistic beliefs in one's abilities and powers
Poor judgment
Spending sprees
A lasting period of behavior that is different from usual
Increased sexual drive
Abuse of drugs, particularly cocaine, alcohol, and sleeping medications
Provocative, intrusive, or aggressive behavior
Denial that anything is wrong
A manic episode is diagnosed if elevated mood occurs with three or more of the other symptoms most of the day, nearly every day, for 1 week or longer. If the mood is irritable, four additional symptoms must be present.
Signs and symptoms of depression (or a depressive episode) include:
Lasting sad, anxious, or empty mood
Feelings of hopelessness or pessimism
Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, or helplessness
Loss of interest or pleasure in activities once enjoyed, including sex
Decreased energy, a feeling of fatigue or of being "slowed down"
Difficulty concentrating, remembering, making decisions
Restlessness or irritability
Sleeping too much, or can't sleep
Change in appetite and/or unintended weight loss or gain
Chronic pain or other persistent bodily symptoms that are not caused by physical illness or injury
Thoughts of death or suicide, or suicide attempts

Hey, didn't mean to sound rude, just trying to be informative. I've been diagnosed as having bipolar. I just know from experience and also through reading and talking to my therapist, that there are often periods of "normality" between highs and lows. That's all i meant by that.
Edit: Wow, you posted the symptoms and corrected your error before i could even make a reply

Apologies if I was sharp. I tend to react badly and believe that I am being got at...one of my own issues I have to deal with, I guess.
Bipolar is something that it has been suggested I have, but I have not followed it up as of yet. I was diagnosed with clinical depression at 13, but I never really noticed any highs back then. Now I do seem to have a pattern of having elation for some days, followed by longer periods of deep depression. But I never seem to have much in the way of in between and I am sure the periods of elation last longer with bi polar. It isnt so much outright happiness as this odd sort of high feeling inside that compels me to go and buy things etc.
Wow. You live and you learn. Thanks for the new word Quatermass.
