I have sadly decided to end all contact with this vile individual after they reprehensibly did so to me without explanation.

This is a measure I hate to take, but

a) it doesn't hurt the feelings of the psychopathic person this individual is and

b) it will help me restore my own emotional stability so that I can move on

REMOVED HERE AS WELL.

I not think it is appropriate to be talking of other members or people who come in this forum like this or to ascribe them conditions.

SORRY if this makes things less clear, but it seemed appropriate not to leave things inside the quote that the author has found regrettable. -=- cal

I apologize for the strong words. I was angry at the time I wrote the post and did not attempt to hide my anger.

Ok, to clarify the following statement about the quote, Graelwyn:

Quote:
Well, that certain illustrates their behavior towards me (and, I hear, others at WP.)

...by the ambiguous "their" I was referring to that one person and in my statement in parenthesis was referring to that one person's behavior towards others at WP.

It is not that that was so much the issue as your suggestion that people pm you to know who she is, thus setting her up to be judged based on your own experiences, which in my opinion, is not fair and does not really match up with:

Quote:
it doesn't hurt the feelings of the person this individual is

All I would have given in the PM was a name and not a sob story beyond the sob story I've posted here in the Haven unless very well-prodded to do so. I don't think this person have been hurt by me giving their name in a PM for the same reason I don't think my ending all contact with the person doesn't hurt their feelings--the person's nature as I have judged it based on my own experiences with the person.

However, since some may view my giving out a name in PM as unfair, I retract my statement that I will do that. Also, no one has PM'd me yet asking for the name, so it is likely that no one was interested anyway. (Of course, I have told some of my long time friends from WP the person's name because I do occasionally share various problems in my life with them in detail.)

Yeah, I found both the PM offer and the comments over the line - especially since there were potentially identifying remarks in them. I know that you have a gripe, and posting such a complaint in the haven may make sense, but an attack on someone, which might reveal them just is not kosher, in my book.
