But, using your analogy, it's not clear which side is "innocent" and which side is "guilty". As an occasional satirist myself, I've been frustrated when people respond to my satiric comments as if I was serious. In this case, the post seems overtly over the top, so my best guess is it is intended as satire.

Well, if you want your mum to give you all those things, you're going to have to expect to give something back. On the other hand, if you were being very nice and doing things you've been asked to, and still didn't get anything back, I can't say anything really. :oops:

P.S. NOBODY should be swearing. It destroys the nicety in the world. And I hate it when people say 'no harm done, they're just words'. Thats completely wrong.
