Tried to access WP two times today, no succes until 7:45 pm EST. Whats the deal?

I hope this wasn't a hack.

I think perhaps it had something to do with power. Alex has said something about this before, but I wouldn't suggest any of you quoting me.

I'm glad to see that this site is back up and running, though.

Last tiime this happened similarly was when the
server site he is on crashed!

Before that a hacker(Iran protester) caused
a shutdown!

The same happened to me; I wasn't able to get on to WP until 5:33 western time. I wonder if we were hacked or something.

I haven't had any problems with threads not working, so my guess is that Alex took the site offline for maintenence.
