What is your major?

I know....they won't cosign for your student loans, either, right?

No sadly. My major is special education and psychology. My dad doesn't live with me and my mom isn't willing to have a sit down convo she's too busy with her new bf.

if you father doesn't do the alimony thing, does that affect the vouchers as well?

If you mother has a boyfriend (are they living together?), why should she care if you live with your dad or not?

I wish there was a simple answer to your dilemma. I would say: live with your dad.

How many credits do you have so far?

Yes it affects the vouchers. Not sure exactly how many credits but I'd guess about 20.

Would you be able to stop by the DDD office Monday and speak to somebody about your situation in person? Perhaps you would be able to explain your whole situation to them, just like you explained it to me.

If I were you, I would do anything to continue receiving the vouchers, and progressing toward independent living. You have a bit more than 3 years before you are able to get your degree. How are your grades so far?

Within another thread, you mentioned that your mother was "injured" in some way. Does she need care for the "injury?" Perhaps the boyfriend could provide this care?

I wish I could offer you advice which would guarantee that you continue to receive the vouchers, and have a place to live independently.

The best I could come up with, in the way of advice, is that you live with your father for the six months, and make sure he does what he promised to do.

And continue to save toward that apartment.

I hope you are feeling at least a bit better.

I wish I could have offered better advice, for I know you want to be an independent adult, and be a productive member of society.

You are still quite young. You have your whole life ahead of you.

Something's not coming out right. I can't see what you're writing.

You don't have to "quote" me. Perhaps just write straightforward.

You know it very often helps me to tell myself that it's just a symptoms to my depression or whatever is going on with me and the matter the fact it is like that. You wrote you "feel" destroid and its "just" a feeling, nothing more.
