I have bipolar type ii. The last two months I thought I had made some sort of breakthrough. It was the longest period of time I was feeling great in a long time. I was productive, I was able to wake up with my alarm at 6am every morning, had tons of energy, got a lot of projects done, etc. Then, one day about a week or so ago, I started feeling too tired to wake up at 6am. Soon it was 8am. Now I can't get up before 10am. I have zero energy and motivation. I can't bring myself to do anything now.

This is typical when I go through my depression phases, but I thought something changed. My depression phases always last for ages and my manic phases don't last long enough. So where did it all go? Nothing happened to me that really made me depressed. Things were just going great. What can I do to help myself feel better again?

I don't have the answer, but I sympathize and am also interested in possible solutions. I'm bipolar I, going through a long depressive episode now and nothing seems to help. I've been getting exercise, eating well, forcing myself out of bed in the morning... But it doesn't help. Zero energy, zero motivation, and bit by bit I'm slipping, getting up later and later, avoiding other people... You are not alone, and we're all looking for the answer.

I don't have bipolar, but I know someone who does, haha! Okay, so what she does is work out for ten minutes to get the blood going, and that lasts her for two hours. You could try it.
