Ok, so my friend disappeared hours ago, and I can't find her. I keep calling her cellphone, but no answer. i don't know where she is, and I'm getting really really lonely. My family has been out all day too, I've tried to call, but no one is home. I'm not really sure what to do at this point. I've even contemplated cutting, which I haven't done since high school. (I won't, I know it's unhealthy, all of that, but still, the fact that it came to mind is kinda freaking me out.) I've been so bored, I'm actually doing my homework...simply because I have nothing else to do. Where are my friends? What do I do?

I'm sorry you feel that way. I get like that too sometimes and it sucks.
Try and do things to keep yourself occupied.
Something you're interested in or like doing.
Or you can just stay on WP and talk tlo people on here if you're feeling lonely. :)
I hope you feel better soon anyway.

I feel so lonely too, when my friends from WP are gone or are not online.

I can relate to destructive habits that you had in the past coming back to your thoughts...That happens to me as well...I think it is helpful if you can say it out loud to yourself "I am a worthy person and I love myself. I will not let anybody, even myself abuse me or harm me physically, emotionally or spiritually." I find it helpful if I can verbalize or vocalize positive thoughts...
As to dealing with loneliness, tell me about it...I totally agree that it is difficult....what I can suggest is, watching a movie, reading a book, engaging in creative activities, or....how about taking a walk? I find walking very therapeutic...or working out at the gym...although for me, it takes a lot to actually go to the gym and work out...posting in WP can help as well...I hope you feel better soon....

I just don't know where she could have gone! I've been trying to find her for hours! grrrr!

I don't know what I'll do when she graduates. next year is going to suck...all my friends entered university as 5 year double degree students...I'm the only one who stuck with it...so they're all graduating and I'm staying...we played our last symphony concert for the season last night, Tchaik Symphony No. 6 Pathetique...and I started crying during the applause because I knew that all of my friends were leaving. (plus, the music is just really really sad.) And I don't make friends easily. It's taken all four years to make the ones I have now, and now they're leaving.

A friend of mine told me that breaking up with someone is changing the context in which you know/connect to the person...or changing the context the person is in...and that the relationship goes on that way...
I guess your case is different from break ups...but...even if the context changes your connection or friendship remains...and with new people, you can start a new journey...since you have had the experience of making friends the past years, you might will be able to make friends more easily this time...
By the way, it's great that you're in an orchestra...which instrument do you play? Music is a fabulous way to connect/communicate with the world...
