I just don't know where she could have gone! I've been trying to find her for hours! grrrr!
I don't know what I'll do when she graduates. next year is going to suck...all my friends entered university as 5 year double degree students...I'm the only one who stuck with it...so they're all graduating and I'm staying...we played our last symphony concert for the season last night, Tchaik Symphony No. 6 Pathetique...and I started crying during the applause because I knew that all of my friends were leaving. (plus, the music is just really really sad.) And I don't make friends easily. It's taken all four years to make the ones I have now, and now they're leaving.
A friend of mine told me that breaking up with someone is changing the context in which you know/connect to the person...or changing the context the person is in...and that the relationship goes on that way...
I guess your case is different from break ups...but...even if the context changes your connection or friendship remains...and with new people, you can start a new journey...since you have had the experience of making friends the past years, you might will be able to make friends more easily this time...
By the way, it's great that you're in an orchestra...which instrument do you play? Music is a fabulous way to connect/communicate with the world...
