shockwave player stops respond, then crashes

so I use this site in chrome (because IE is slow as hell on my computer) and shockwave seems to slow the website down so it lags and doesn't respond, but then sometimes it crashes, and the website then runs fine and perfectly until i reload or go onto a different page.

Shockwave is obsolete technology. It is full of bugs and security problems which can lead to malware infections on your computer. Most modern sites use HTML5 which is supported directly by the browser. I uninstalled Shockwave Flash years ago.

it seems to not affect this website when it crashes, it just makes the website run much faster (when it crashes)


so how do i uninstall it to make things smoother?
