The things you 'might not know about me' thread has got me thinking- is there enough of us here interested in crafts/arts for a craft forum to be worthwhile???

I'm interested in crafts, but doesn't that fall under the art, writing, and music forum?

Perhaps but it tends to be all about other people's art, etc rather than stuff we've made ourselves.

It could be a really bad idea- I'm just in the middle of a craft obsession at the moment- I made 8 things over the weekend :lol:

Mel I would love a craft forum. I always like knowing what people are doing and different ideas they have.

That was what I had in mind- thought we could share pics of finished projects and links to good online tutorials.

How about a general "Making Art" or "Art You've Made" type of forum, then?

I have expanded the scope of the art, writing and music forum to incorporate crafts also - that seems suitable. Why not start some craft threads - a 'show us yours' sticky, perhaps? :D

I would love to have a craft forum to post in. I'm currently learning how to spin yarn and I'm LOVING it!

I thought I could upload a picture of my spinning wheel but I don't see any way to be able to do that.
