This username is not the username I signed up with (I signed up as DarknessWithinDarkness which is completely opposite to "thinkhappi". It also says I'm female even though I'm male and that I joined on 13 Jul when I actually joined yesterday the 17th, and it says that I've posted 5 times (guess this'll be the 6th) when this will actually only be my 3rd post. What gives and should I ask someone to ban me/create a new account? I don't want to mess with this "Thinkhappi" person's account by accident.

Edit: So I just looked at this person's post history and apparently they made this thread: viewtopic.php?t=366216

which is nothing that I would write at all! And now I feel bad because that person seems like they're in a very bad place emotionally and now I'm somehow in their account (which means they're probably locked out of their own account)! Something definitely needs to be done :/

this literally applies to me as well... this is not my account but sure enough when i log into the account i just "registered" this is the account i end up in... wtf?

it seems the forums are broken in other ways as well... i have hit multiple sql errors for things such as trying to click "edit profile" and have also on another registration attempt i got put into another incorrect account who is apparently not able to access any of the forums

I suspect that both of you may have inadvertently been technically affected by the changeover to a new server which was occurring when you registered, which disrupted the recording of your profiles in unprecedented ways.

Now that the changeover is complete, I suggest that the best fix available at this stage is for us to place a voluntary ban on both of your accounts. I will note that the bans are for this reason, and then you can both create new profiles in new names.

After you have created new accounts and usernames, PM me and let me know what your new usernames are. You won't be able to use the same ones as before. I will need to know your new names so that I can place a note on your old accounts to the effect that the IP matches between the old and new usernames are innocent and not the result of sock puppets created by banned members for breaking the rules.

Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope this makes sense.
