I can't find what I'm looking for

Because WP has been dull and inactive lately, I've been looking through old threads of mine that I posted like 8 years ago. I'm trying to search for a particular thread I'd made about a meltdown I had one time, but no matter how many key words I know was in the thread I type in, it just doesn't come up with the right results. I even put in my username in the search bar too, but still no luck. I can't remember the exact year I posted it, but I know it was between 2010 and 2013, and I assume it was in the Haven, as I used to spend a lot of time posting in the Haven when I was going through severe depression.

I've used the search page where you can narrow down your search but even that doesn't find me the results I want. It's so frustrating. I want to be on WP but because there's nothing new to look at other than s**t in the PPR where I know better to keep away from, I thought I'd be nostalgic and look at old threads written by the old depressed me.

Is there anything I could type to help the search find better results? Typing the year something was posted seems to just confuse the search feature.

I've tried doing it the hard way, which is looking at every page in the Haven between 2010 and 2013 but I still can't seem to find it (I lost focus so I didn't look at every page by the way). Like you said, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
