I forgot to take my medication for a week or 2. My mom found out and was very concerned. My dad also found out and felt the same as my mom.

I feel ashamed because of it. It's been a while but now I take my medication everyday. I'm feeling paranoid lately though. My medication used to help with that. I feel like I'm starting at the beginning again.

Also I think I have depression but my doctor will not give me antidepressants because he thinks I might have mania.

Don't beat up on yourself. Since your serum level dropped it'll take awhile to build the dosage back up to where it was so you might have to deal with that but only for awhile.

I have bipolar 1, you don't want antidepressants when you're on that. Even combined with an anti-psychotic I was messed up badly during that period.

I hope you're feeling better soon.

The meds take time to kick in.
It will happen the way it did for you before.
