adapt? in this materialistic capitalist society where celebrities and socialites are revered? in the world where people's goal in life is to acquire as much wealth as possible? N-O T-H-A-N-K-S

in a way, people with physical disabilities have it easier than people with mental disabilities. society have adapted to accomodate people with physical disabilities. handicapped access are everywhere. there are services available for blind/deaf people.

but people with mental disabilities are usually laughed at and are called freaks etc.

what i want people to understand is:

if i start an awkward conversation that ends up annoying people, I DO NOT DO IT ON PURPOSE

if it takes 1-2 seconds longer than normal for me to answer your question, I DO NOT DO IT ON PURPOSE

if i get annoyed by noises that may sound normal to other people, I DO NOT DO IT ON PURPOSE

im not proud to have asperger's syndrome but i can never adapt to live in a materialistic way, acquiring wealth etc. i can never engage in conversation where boys brag about drinking, having sex with many women. i can never spend my money on luxury goods. i dont mind buying someone else luxury goods as presents but never for myself.
