I really guess it is just being very lucky, I met my last boyfriend on a dating app, we were in a very long distance relationship, he lives in France & I live in California, we made our relationship work. My current boyfriend is long distance too, we are meeting in September. I gave up on dating sites on & off for two decades.

My mom met her boyfriend in a chatroom, she met two guys.

I joined dating apps again...

(The silent sound of disappointment from the crowd)

I have a friend who is a musician. He'd probably cringe at that attempt at song writing.

I'm a little jealous of him. Not in a malicious way though. It's weird, seeing someone you know become famous and have fan girls.

Not that I'd want to be famous myself. He says I'd probably meet someone at his gigs but I'm not falling for that shameless self-promotion.

I wonder if his fan club hate his girlfriend. Anyways...

On the plus side, I matched with someone recently and she's also into the game Hades so at least we can talk about that together.

I do have a habit of talking for too long to my matches and not arranging to meet up though. I'm trying to break that habit. Show I'm actually interested. Not banish my chances to the underworld.

Update: We're meeting for iced coffee.
