Angry and Disapointed at the same time.
So about 3 days ago, I was in Science Class and me and my friends were having a great time. Our teacher tells us to hand in the homework, so I open my binder. My homework isn't there. I look everywhere and I don't find it. One of my friends (who shall remain unnamed) tells me she saw a paper with my name on it in my L.A Room. I go there and find a paper with my name on it...but the paper does not have my writing on it. In fact someone took a paper, whited out someone else's name, and slapped my name on it. I was confused, but I took it back to the room. I showed it to the teacher assistant in the room (who knows my writing very well) and she was confused also. I told her that someone else did this and it was POSSIBLE someone stole my work and slapped my name on someone else's work. So I hand it in anyway. I continue to talk to my T.A about it and I continue to become increasingly suspicious that someone stole my work. One of my friends tells me that a boy who stole his work must of stole mine. The girl (my friend) that told me to go check in the L.A Room said that she had not seen anyone go into my binder, and that her dad had the exact same writing as mine. I became suspicious at my friend at that point, but I didn't say anything. So time goes on and we start marking the sheet. I mark someone else's sheet cause I don't have mine, and then we all hand the sheets back to the teacher so the teacher can check it. So all of a sudden I am sitting there and my friend who directed me to the bogus paper gets pulled out of the room.
A few minutes later the T.A comes into the room and holds two sheets up to my face. They both have my writing on them, but she is covering the part where we are supposed to put our names on the sheet. I said those sheets were mine because they had my writing on them. She then goes and talks to the teacher. I was waiting for my friend (the girl) to come back but she did not. Then the T.A comes back and shows me the name part of the paper...
....
It had her name on it, and I was pretty surprised. My friend (the girl) stole my work, and put her name on it. Then she took my other friend's paper, whited out his name and put my name on it to make it look like she didn't do anything.
The T.A tells me that my friend was furious and she kept saying it was her paper when in fact it was mine (she was furious at the T.A and the teacher because she was figured out).

Thank you for reading to this point if you have, I know this is big.
So anyway she has been ignoring me now for 2 days, and I want to send her a email, but I don't know whether to be angry or just tell her how much I am disappointed. In fact now that I think of it,, she did treat me poorly, calling me a ret*d and saying that she wasn't feeling good cause "I had so many classes with her", even though we seemed to be friends (this has been going on for about 2 years).
I really do want to send her a email saying how much of a dumbass she was and how much of a prick she is for breaking a friendship over two pieces of homework. I really want to tell her how much of a b***h she is for treating me like s**t for these couples of years too, even though we seemed to be friends. I also believe I am a dumbass for even being her friend, I should have just said F**k you to her face for calling me a ret*d and treating me like s**t at times. But this just takes the cake.
Please post opinions, thank you I had to just rant.

You ranted here. I would just drop it now and have nothing to do with that girl ever again. I know you want to tell her off, but what would that accomplish? You could end up in trouble for harassment.
Stop being friends with people who treat you badly.
That girl is poison. Just stay away. If you make her mad, she will lie about something to get you in trouble.
Alright thank you for replying. Well your right about the harrasment part I got in trouble once for sending a girl an email and I took it to a whole new level I swore way too much, it wasn't one of my best emails but she was so scared she did not even go around me, which I liked cause she bothered me before but I almost got in trouble by the principal.
NovaFlame, I read your post entirely. I am disappointed for you too, and, of course, your 'friend' isn't. But, I am naive too so I could envision this scenario happening to myself as well.
I am a TA for chemistry lab session in addition to my academics (my teaching pays my tuition). Anyway, what you have described, overarchingly, is plaguerism. Plagiarism in an academic and professional setting is wholly inappropriate and unethical. Yes, I think you should ignore your friend and pretend this didn't happen. But in your future endeavors, watch for those who feel entitled to plagiarize - it's poison and taken seriously! For instance, when I completed my master's thesis, I was very diligent (and respectful) about citing references. To not cite another's work is plagiarism and even violates copyright law. In essence, a researcher loses their credibility if they plagiarize and the original author/researcher is taken advantage of.
I am really shy and I tend to stay away from this sort of thing (ie: if someone wrongs me), but perhaps you should speak with the head of your department about this matter. I would firstly state, as a disclaimer, you are speaking NOT to 'get even' or complain, but instead so the deletorious effects of plagiarism are understood and implemented now and by everyone. I am sorry this happened to you.
I hate when someone (like your 'friend') pretends to be nice, then is deceiptful. If this issue is a concern, maybe your principal (or dept. head) should consider having students submit their work via email. With my chemistry students, they are allowed one week to complete their lab assignment. But as soon as they finish in in the laboratory, I initial and date their work! Good idea.
