In context of Executive Functions;
Help me decide what "skill tree" I'm going for (or debuff I'm ridding of):

Faster Processing and Recollection (losing sluggishness)

OR

Bigger Picture Viewing (losing mental myopia)

Doesn't matter what my context or reasoning -- maybe except how you guys see it, or tell me why one would choose one over the other because I'll take it as a hint.
I see both as equally important. I just couldn't decide and pick one at the moment.

I couldn't just do both at the same time.
And I can do the other one later.

OR - I can just do the other if the first one is not feasible.
There's no wrong answer. I just wanna know what everyone else think and which of the two is more useful.

:P Also be original. Don't ask any AIs either because I already asked them.

I think having more Reliable Processing & Memory would benefit me more so that's what I voted for. I'm NOT saying that I don't have problems Seeing The Bigger Picture though.

If the brains are computers, sure.

What would you recommend to a human if one struggles with both but can only afford one upgrade?

I cannot answer the question. I need to give this some thought. I'm retreating to my word processor to work this out. It may take all day, and I may lose interest. LOL. Who am I kidding. It's a puzzle, and I could spend three hours (not at all unrealistic) writing/thinking about it and then coming to the conclusion that I want to watching ________. Eureka would be nice. I've already spent an hour typing, and then moving it to the LibreOffice Writer.

The problem I have is they are both needed, however, I understand they do not necessarily both exist in the same individual. Ideally, there are people where some have one, and some have the other, but both groups have the self awareness to understand that the other side is needed. Otherwise, Big Picture can be just generalization, and Faster Processing and Reliable Recollection can be anecdotal knowledge leading someone to say "So?"

I am not sure I am particularly good at either so maybe it is a bit like asking someone who is color blind about decorating tips. However, note - I had a roommate in college that was in the same painting class as me, and the instructor told him he maybe had the best sense of color than any one in the class. Yes. My roommate was color blind.

I think I would pick Faster Processing and Reliable Recollection. I think I'm sluggish in my processing, and I don't trust my recollection. My recollection is hampered by a bad filing system. Hopefully, is something can still happen gradually over time. So I will select FPRR. Ooo. I turned it into an unreadible acrynom.

Although, now I'm wondering what is the downside of Reliable (Faster) Processing and Memory. Would that affect imagination?

I chose better memory and processing because my memory is pretty poor. Apparently there are ways to improve our memories, things to practice, which I've never committed myself to. I always found the memory techniques, especially the 'create a story to link all the items together' really difficult, I guess if I had better processing that would help with that task also. Better processing and memory might also lead to improvements in seeing the bigger picture - if your memory and processing is better then more can be held in mind at once.

This is also why I need help choosing.

And thank you for choosing.

It's been decided. :o

After surveying a few online spaces, I'm choosing faster processing.

Thank you everyone for the input.
