I remember being 18 or 19 and fascinated with reading Tolkien's lord of the rings and the silmarillion and I still interested in it now but I have in the last six or seven months been reading ghost stories by M.R. James after having watched a documentary about him. The stories are interesting and quite disturbing even during the time he wrote them. It has made me want me read other similar stories about vengeful ghosts and things like that. I even feel quite prepared to want to read Jaws by Peter bencheley whereas before I couldn't. I remember I once got the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker while camping but at the time I think I was expecting too much from it and didn't really read it although I remember reading an abridged version of the story at school.
