Have you heard? I think the church lady is going to die.
I think we are talking about the same person.

Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. People like her existed in mental health facilities back then and she was such an accurately vile portrayal. What she did to Billy was unforgivable.

Every character in Man of Steel. I found myself rooting for the villains while watching that movie because the villains were all relatable while the good guys were all insufferable a-holes. One of the worst movies ever made, which is ironic because it came from the same studio that made The Dark Knight just a few years prior.

Not directly related, but I also think Thanos was too relatable to be an effective villain. He was almost like the Satan character in South Park: You know he's evil because the movie says so, but other than that he's a likable character. Antagonists aren't supposed to be likable.

Ah, I was referring to Helen Lovejoy! I guess I should've Googled her name but of course silly me typed that up during the final minutes of lunch break. It's been a while since I have watched The Simpsons. Heard the later seasons have improved.

SpongeBob and Patrick or pretty much anyone who isn't Squidward from season 6.

SpongeBob season 6 is really hard to watch because it contains the most episodes that do nothing except torture Squidward. At least in earlier seasons, Squidward had it coming for being mean and selfish. In season 6, an episode begins with Squidward having something good to look forward to or is minding his own business and SpongeBob and/or Patrick get involved and then he loses opportunity for good because... it's funny? No, it isn't.

Dee Dee from Dexter's Lab season 3 and 4. There was some depth to her character in the early show, but when it was "revived" that depth was flattened. In fact, a lot of things were flattened. Dexter's Lab S3 & S4 doesn't even look or feel like the same show that came before.

Curly from Hey Arnold. He's a child psychopath. Nuff said.

Emperor Palpatine, AKA Darth Sidious.
Everything that went wrong in the galaxy was absolutely his fault. And even though he created the coolest bad guy ever, Darth Vader, he was eager to have Vader's son kill and replace his father after years of loyalty and devotion.

lucille ball, my mother loved it, father not, bah he didn't like tv at all, except for news and some doc
i watched it then with her, rewatching i see, totally bollocks narratif of succeeding everytime while behaving like a spoiled brat

i see, its a theme,
chaos against order (most chaos vs less chaos)
binary is movement, one side or the other is a certain death

and the added bonus theme of the 'woman-child theme', so precious in advertising,
(you had the uppermiddle class Parisian ladies who talked with very performative child voices,
i found that rather weird, it must have been fashionable to pretend to be not-grownup and incompetent)
ofc for women, its always the status of incompetence, be it long nails, high heels, tiny feet or fatally obesity)

I've never cared for that guy that hosted The Apprentice.
His name and deeds escapes me, and justice, but I cannot say I actually hate him. He seems disturbed and that's sad. I abhorred saying it, but there has got to be a place that is safe to house him, like an island.
