New guy, late diagnosed

Hi,

I was just diagnosed a few months ago despite being a Gen X.
I'm mainly curious to find out if neurodiverse people get on better with each other than they do with neurotypical people.
I knew something was different about me in my early twenties.
I think the difficult thing was waiting on the professional understanding to catch up with how I am.
Still I managed to get a diagnosis this year and I was diagnosed with Autism.

Hopefully I'll get to know one or two of you.

(It took me a bit longer to get my diagnosis. I am a Baby Boomer and did not get my Autism diagnosis until days before my 65th birthday.)
