My health problem - one with my esophagus

During this Christmas, I almost lost my life when a piece of turkey meat got stuck in my throat and I almost died I will need to undergo a gastroscopy to check what exactly it is - the Shatzki's ring or something else I generally have problems with swallowing bigger food pieces now - the problem that back in the past didn't concern me.

Did anyone else have this problem as well in the past and what exactly did it turn out to be?
