Thats still quite a long time living compared to some people.

My step fathers mother died at 37 from lung cancer and his father died at 43 from a heart attack.
My step father is on daily medication to control his high blood pressure.
I'm just thankful that i'm not his biological child...I wouldn't want those genetics.

Nearly everybody on my dad's side of the family has lived to be in their 90s.

In my close family problems with high pressure of blood and heart attacks seem to be a relatively common issue, unfortunately :?

Bump :) Sorry for resurrecting the long dead thread :)

My great aunt Irena (my deceased grandpa's only living sister) either has turned 90 recently or is going to turn 90 this month (or the next month, I don't know exactly). She is the longest living person in our family as of now :)

And your own family members? :)

On my dad's side, my great grandpa lived to be 90, my great grandma lived to be 92 and my grandpa lived to be 94. On my mum's side, everyone died at an earlier age. Either I'll die in my 60s or my 90s.

I'm the reverse. On Dad's side men die early. On my Mum's they die earlier too.

Oh.

My great grandmother (mother's father's mother) lived to 101 years old. Aside from her, nobody in recent history on either parent's side has lived past 78 years old. My uncle recently passed away about 2 months before his 78th birthday.

grandparents got a good average, then the parents spoilt that,
different brain diseases, likely from toxants, but the neuro-specialist refused :!: to look at that
you wouldn't want to touch possible work related diseases, imagine that

there's a pic of me in the pram in the garden, between the chemical drums (dow chemical)

idk it seems that few years later it wasn't like that anymore
other containers? i guess i didn't pay attention there

My grandpa on my mom's side lived till he was about 97. He worked very hard his entire life & was did lots of different manual labor things. He had Alzheimer's for many years. My grandma eventually put him in a nursing home. Shortly after he went there he fell down & had an emergency surgery. He quit eating because he thought the food tasted nasty & claimed they were putting medicine in the food.
