My first online business that I tried to start was selling merch with my art printed on it. Made no money whatsoever and it was a catastrophic failure. That experience taught me that I should stick to selling digital products. My next online business, which I'm working on right now, is selling my music on BandCamp. In the just under two years since I launched that business, I've made a total of about $18 from music sales - all individual tracks, no album sales. The struggle is real.
Yeah, I'm just making this thread for people to share their experiences and thoughts about online side hustles and trying to escape the rat race.
