Project Hail Mary looks pretty good, it looks like it would have a potentially uplifting ending which is always nice. And I like the premise.

By the time I'm aware that a movie is in the theater, it's not playing anymore. And I really don't consider most movies worth the current cinema experience (assigned seating, weird recliners, too loud, too expensive, etc). I miss cheap second run theaters greatly. I don't think I've gone to a movie in a theater since Covid...

To the orig q, I'm intending to take the moms to see The Sheep Detectives that comes out around Mother's Day. I saw some ads on youtube in Jan, & it's the only one I've bothered to make a post-it about to remind myself.

The Sheep Detectives looks very entertaining. It is not model animation, but I am reminded of Chicken Run.

I saw the trailer for Ready or Not 2 which was before Send Help,
definitely looking forward to seeing it when it opens this Spring.

Grogu and the Mandalorian for sure, as I'm up for anything Star Wars.
The Avengers: Doomsday sounds like something I'd go see, as Dr. Doom is one of my very favorite Marvel characters.

This Spring, so IMO, the Friday before Spring Break (March 20th) or Easter Weekend (April 3rd).

But yes, I will get in line for a ticket. It will be a bloodbath.

"Thank God it's over."

Watched it and I think the first one was better but it looks like there will be part 3 upcoming. I won't give anything away in case others here are going to watch it.

I've seen Send Help and IMO, I wasn't expecting so much dark humor in some parts of it.
