To hopefully preserve some of my artwork here from being lost to time in the sticky, I shall do my own thread here and showcase some of my artwork here. Starting off with the Lada VAZ 2106 "Zhiguli" car.

Image

A rather simple and cartoony drawing of the Lada VAZ 2106 car. This year, the car has turned 50 years old with its first model having been produced in 1976. It's very easy to draw due to its simple shape from its cardboard-ish design. It has bumpers at the front and the back, two pairs of headlights on its sides at the front and can go up to 160 km/h at maximum, taking about 14-18 seconds to go from 0 to 100 (km/h). These cars were in production for 30 years with the last model produced in 2006. They are also used for the Soviet Militsiya and are also part of the livery of Russian police from its early years.

Not just within ex-USSR but also it is widely a hit among Eastern Europeans. The VAZ 2106 is based off from the Fiat 125 car as the Fiat cars were licensed to help with the production of the VAZ cars from 2101 to 2107 (serial numbers). Overall, it's a cool old timer car from the 70s.

My take on the Yugoslavia flag. I designed this back in 2024.

A man holding a hammer and sickle and birds are around him. It is a reference to the statue of Multiculturalism which also happens to be placed in the Yugoslav city of Sarajevo.

Yugoslavia countryball that I drew. Anyways, I'm posting my art here in this thread specifically as of now as I don't have to worry about the other one that much.

I like the sense of nostalgia. On the statue, is that how it is? I didn't get a chance to see it in my time in Sarajevo.

Yeah. It's right by the Orthodox cathedral in the park. Man and the birds.
