I have a developmental learning disorder and due to stress, I tend to dissociate.

The world doesn't look real, it feels a bit distorted because I can't comprehend how we have complex mathematics, science and technology.

I feel like our world is not real, at times I was so convinced our world is not real.

The world at times feels distorted.

I am in shock at how complex our world looks.

I feel like the world is distorted, I am just an observer, that I at times was so convinced that our world is not real and I feel like I am in a sci-fi world.

I experience the same thing. The complexities of the modern world throws me off, sometimes. I see all these high tech gadgets and advanced technology around me and it's like I'm living in an unreal reality. TV sets don't even look like TV sets anymore. They look like giant computer monitors. Radio has changed as well. I had to go online to find an oldies station and the station only plays half of the songs from the 60s. It's a British Invasion station. When I listen to 60s music, I want to hear all the songs from the 60s British and American. I also think that I'm the only person left on this planet who uses cash to pay for everything. I think everybody else uses Interac or bank apps to pay for their things. Don't get me started on digital music. It's LPs and CDs that I like.
