I’m just wondering what special interests other women (on the forum) have. Mine are: Hinduism/Buddhism, post punk, and Beat Generation literature. Please post yours if you’d like to share, thanks.

I'm not sure I've had any special interests. I just get fixations on certain men that I become obsessed with.

I think that could count, especially if you’re obsessed with everything about them. For instance if I’m really into a band I will find out everything about them in detail through reading and analyze all of their lyrics.

For me, my long term special or strong interests are related to:
- Family history / genealogy
- Plushies and dolls and taking pictures for Instagram
- Other art / creative projects - drawing, crochet, and other
- Writing /journaling/ blogging
- Personality frameworks like enneagram and MBTI
- Autism related topics
- Certain TV shows or movies or books! The intensity can wane, but if I once liked it so intensely, then it still remains something I love. They include: Lord of the Rings , Harry Potter, LOST, Gilmore Girls, The Mindy Project

With these and probably other interests, they are long term special interests so I sometimes am more actively interested in one or two than the others. But the others are still there and feel like returning home to something familiar when I revisit them again.
